If given the honor of being elected to Congress, I will make it one of my goals to convince other leaders in Washington that our Republic cannot continue to stand under the oppressive weight of the Federal bureaucracy. As I’ve said, a 10th Amendment Review Committee is not only advisable, but is quickly becoming a necessity.

As such, it will be my duty and pleasure, before and during my campaign, to enlist a group of community leaders throughout the 5th district to begin reviewing issues pertaining to the expansion of the federal Leviathan in contradiction to the 10th amendment and utilize it as a way to discern what action must be taken when I take this seat for you in Washington. It is my erstwhile goal and the duty of my representation to speak on behalf of you, the citizens of this district in OUR House and I will take that job seriously.

With your input, I will work tirelessly to bring a majority of Congressmen over to support establishing a national commission of economists, businessmen, and experts on Constitutional Law and public policy to identify areas in which the Federal government has run afoul of the 10th Amendment. Their impetus will be the voice of you, the people whose voice has gone unheard for far too long.

There are numerous things that are controlled from the Federal level that were once taken care of (and much more efficiently) at the state and local level. Understanding that the return to this form of government will be an arduous journey, we can make it happen sooner by starting now. I started this campaign with a bullhorn, and I will carry that same bullhorn to the halls of Capitol Hill to ensure the citizens of Central Virginia have a place at the table and a say in the decisions that affect us all.
